My Review: 4 stars
This was definitely an interesting read. I really liked Sean a lot. He probably looked like some who would kick your ass without a second thought, and maybe at times he might, but not in this book. In this book he's a badass guy who is in love with his best friend, and has been for over 10 years. Until one night, he meets a lovely Irish young lady who just makes him take a step back and re-evaluate everything. Aoife is the young Irish lady who is only in America for the summer on an internship. They had amazing chemistry and it seemed to me that they both fell hard for each other. They have their challenges, but somehow manage to make things work. The only problem is that her life is back in Ireland, and Sean's is in America. That's a huge challenge to overcome. I definitely liked the story line in this book. both Sean and Aoife are fighters. They fight for different things at times, but they still fight. They don't know how not to. Alisa did a great job with this. I really enjoyed the characters and the story line moved right along, fast paced, always on to the next challenge or issue. Really quite good.
