My Review: 4 1/2 stars
This was such a good book from Paula. I've read both her contemporary and paranormal books, and I've got to say I really like the contemporary ones better. I really don't know why, they're all good. This book was a surprise however. I liked that Paula started at the beginning of the relationship, then moved right into where Logan and Cass run into each other again. Things from that point moved quickly. No doubt about it, they're complicated as hell, with Logan being in his position. Things only get more complicated and messy. I loved Logan and how torn he was inside, that it was killing him not to show how much he wanted Cass and Olivia. How in the span of a few moments, the way he looked at things changed forever, but in such a good way. I felt for Cass, being a single parent, and then out of the blue Logan shows back up. It scares her, about so many things. I loved the way that Cass gave Logan a chance, when she wouldn't do it for anyone else. Sometimes, the best things are worth taking a chance on though. I really loved the ending where all the misconceptions get cleared up. I am really loving Paula's work, and will continue to read her work and be a fan.
